Road of Red Community Guidelines

This site is a home for fans of the Road of Red, or Road Revelers, to share mutual interests that revolve around our shared love of weird vampire urban road trip fantasy. Anyone is welcome to join us on the Road if they are willing to commit to our shared values of kindness, generosity and endeavoring to make sure people feel supported and safe. Please read the Road of Red Community Guidelines so that you know what the rules of the Road are.

The current admin for this site is Morgan von Cross (she/hers). You can reach Morgan through the contact form provided here. Additional admins may be listed here as the project grows.

We want this to be a fun, pleasant, and harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment of participants in any form. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

Please keep talk about the pandemic and politics to a minimum until we have dedicated spaces for those conversations to occur. Conversations about mental health fit anywhere, because the state of one’s brain is a part of normal, everyday life. We have so many kind and helpful people in our community. Please keep in mind that the kindest response to a frustration is to ask if someone wants help before offering it. We typically use some variation of “Would you like sympathy or suggestions?” to offer support.

Affirmation of marginalized communities:

We support and affirm movements dedicated to improving awareness and conditions for marginalized people and communities, including (but not limited) to #BlackLivesMatter, #MeToo, and #StopAAPIHate.

At our discretion, we may publicly name a person about whom we’ve received harassment complaints, or privately warn third parties about them.
